Medu is the second largest African-American-owned bookstore in Atlanta and has served the community faithfully for over 20 years! Medu means "the power of the word" which Medu expertly provides with its amazing selection of books.

Medu is not only a bookstore - it also holds book fairs, signings, and lectures providing what Nia Damali, the owner, refers to as "The Medu" experience. It is located in Greenbriar Mall in Southwest Atlanta.
